JIM ROSS, JR. REPORT
July 14, 2000

TV was just excellent this week. Fully Loaded is shaping up nicely and this week's Raw and Smackdown! should be nothing short of excellent.

Steven Richards is definitely playing his role to perfection. However, Good Ol' J.R. Jr. doesn't think censorship is right. I believe people can make the decision of what they want to watch by themselves.

WWF New York is the place to be on Monday night. The Kat had a great time Monday night and I'm sure somebody else will stop by this Monday to party with the fans. The food and the entertainment at WWF New York is first class.

Bull Buchanan is being re-evaluated right now. This 6'8" 330 lbs. stud is going to make a contribution to the WWF. Don't count this man out.

Mark Henry's progress at Ohio Valley Wrestling has not been going well as it should. Mark needs to step it up if he wants the opportunity of time to compete again in the WWF.

It will be interesting to see which match at Fully Loaded will be better. Chris Benoit vs. The Rock or Triple H vs. Chris Jericho. All four men are great athletes in the prime of their career and both matches should be classics.

I just spoke to Stone Cold yesterday and his rehab is going very well. In my opinion, Steve still has a lot to contribute to the WWF and he feels the same way as well.

The WWF cookbook coming out this fall is going be just fine. Not only will it contain recipes from my daddy Good Ol' J.R., but from many of the WWF Superstars wives and even from the Superstars themselves!

Big Show will make his return in a couple weeks. This man needs to get down to 375 lbs. if he really wants to compete at the top level in the WWF.

The XFL added two new teams this past Tuesday in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. These are two great cities for XFL action. Hopefully, Good Ol' J.R. Jr. will be able to snag a position in calling games next year. I wouldn't mind having former Oklahoma Sooners coach Barry Switzer as my partner in the booth.

Speaking of the XFL, a couple of commercials advertising the new league aired during the MLB All-Star game. Vince McMahon did an outstanding job in getting across the message. The XFL is real football. It's what the fans demanded.

Tazz's role will be increased in the future. This fine young man from the Red Hook section in Brooklyn, NY has a great work ethic and is very good in the locker room.

Shane McMahon payed a visit to Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday and his knee will not need surgery. It amazes me at some of the stuff this man is willing to do. He definitely sets an example for the other WWF Superstars.

Not only is WWF New York the place to watch RAW is WAR on Monday night, but it is also the place to watch the Smackdown taping on Tuesday night as well. You can watch Smackdown on Thursday night from the restaurant as well. Pay Per Views can also be seen at WWF New York for a small cover charge.

Play-by-play announcers that don't know their head from their ass should get a clue. It really doesn't surprise me how desperate some companies are right now. Good lord.

By the way, Hulk Hogan is NOT on his way to WWF.

The response to Good Ol' J.R. Jr.'s steak sauce has been outstanding. Thanks for the response! The weather has been excellent here in Oklahoma and I've done my share of cooking out lately.

Take care.
