Another week in the books and Good Ol' J.R., Jr. returns with more news and opinions from under the lucky Oklahoma Sooners football helmet.

The WWF scored another touchdown this past Sunday with No Mercy. Benoit vs. Triple H was an intense and physical classic contest. Stone Cold Steve Austin made his return to active competition, by kicking Rikishi's ass and ended up spending the night in jail. And to top it off, a classic battle between Kurt Angle and The Rock which went Angle's way thanks to Rikishi's blunders. A great show all around.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day for Good Ol' J.R., Jr. as my Oklahoma Sooners who are the #2 team in the nation--but #1 in my heart--play host to the #1 team in the nation, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. This one's going to be a slobberknocker.

Also on Saturday is the XFL draft as the eight franchises select players for this upcoming season. Remember, the XFL kicks off this February on NBC!

Great week for the WWF with the mainstream appearances as Chyna, Triple H, Lita, Kurt Angle, and Stone Cold Steve Austin made appearances on Live With Regis cooking their favorite dishes. Good Ol J.R.'s barbecue sauce got some airtime today and it went over big with Regis.

I thought Chris Benoit performed very well this week, not only in the ring, but on the microphone as well. The talented Edmonton native was held back down south because the promoters thought he didn't have it on the microphone. Well, it's hard to talk on the mic when you rarely get the opportunity to do so.

I was saddened to hear about the death of Rodney "Yokozuna" Anoia. Yokozuna was a big man, but had an even bigger heart. Rest in peace, big fella.

The addition of Ivory to the Right to Censor is a very interesting one indeed. When Ivory was WWF Women's Champion she was very outspoken about not being about "T and A." However, she would participate in evening gown matches and bikini contests. Now, she has "seen the light" and joined Steven Richards' group of hypocrites. Give me a break.

Should be a great week of TV this week as RAW is WAR will be live this Monday from the Fleet Center in Boston and SmackDown! will be taped in Rochester, NY. Of course, already signed for this Monday on RAW is Stone Cold vs. Rikishi in a 15 ft. steel cage. I have a feeling this will be a slobberknocker.
