Another week in the books and Good Ol' J.R., Jr. has loads of news and opinions from under the lucky Oklahoma Sooners helmet.

(Correction: Last week I mistakenly said RAW is WAR would emanate from The Palace at Auburn Hills this week, but as many readers notified me last week it was the Joe Louis Arena and not the Palace. Just a huge brainfart on the part of Good Ol' J.R., Jr. Once again, thanks to everybody who sent me the correct info. I'm sorry if I caused any confusion over my mistake. Also, I botched the spelling of Conquistadors last week, but nobody picked up on that. Ironically, the Tyson-Golotta fight will be at the Palace tonight. I'm sure Tyson is going over.)

The Rikishi-Stone Cold match at No Mercy will not be a classic wrestling match. In fact, it will be the definition of a slobberknocker as Stone Cold will by no means be looking to grab a hold and work it for 5-10 minutes. I expect a no-nonsense brawl that probably go all over the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York. Austin is looking to kick ass and come hell or high water he'll do it this Sunday at No Mercy.

Another match I'm looking forward to at No Mercy is Chris Benoit vs. "The Game" Triple H. From where I sit, they are the best technical wrestlers in our industry right now. I'm sure all of you hardcore "smart" fans will be creaming your pants over this exciting match-up.

A lot of people believe Kurt Angle challenging The Rock for the WWF Title has been put on the backburner in favor of the Austin-Rikishi match. The truth is it has to an extent, however, that won't be a factor once these two young studs step into the ring. I expect an awesome match.

William Regal has been very impressive in his return to the WWF. It's been a long road back for the Englishman and he's being counted on to deliver the goods. It wouldn't surprise me if Regal works his way up the card as quickly or quicker than Kurt Angle.

The combination of Tazz and Raven is a very interesting one to say the least. I would like to hear more from these two. Tazz' color commentary on HeAT is very unique.

Good Ol' J.R. will be showing off the WWF cookbook "Can You Take the Heat" on "Live With Regis" October 27th. J.R. also plans on introducing his barbeque sauce to a national audience that day. I'm sure Regis will love it.

Eddie Guerrero pulled his hamstring this past Monday in his match against Chris Jericho and his match against Mr. Ass has been canceled and replaced by Chyna & Mr. Ass vs. Steven Richards & Val Venis.

You gotta believe the steel cage match pitting Chris Jericho vs. X-Pac will be an awesome contest and could be the show stealer. These two are tremendous athletes who have their better years ahead of them in my opinion.

I just got a tape of some of Big Show's latest work at Ohio Valley Wrestling and the weight loss is already starting to show. This big man still has quite a bit to lose before he'll be in any condition to return to the WWF.

The rumors surrounding the state of Turner's organization are very strong right now. They're so strong, many people in that organization who believed they have burned their bridges with the WWF are doing some serious asskissing. I got word that Turner's Monday night color commentator (the pasty white obese one) was praising Good Ol' J.R. and Vince McMahon yesterday on the radio. If this proposed deal does go through you can bet the farm that yours truly will be stepping in to replace my father's former understudy down south.
