JIM ROSS, JR. REPORT
September 15, 2000

Jim Ross, Jr. has an abundance of news and opinions this week from under his St. Patrick's Day Chicago White Sox hat.

Only 9 days until Unforgiven which in turn means only nine days until we find out who ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin. For 10 months this has been a mystery, but September 24 at Unforgiven it will be put up or shut up as the mystery person is being asked to come forward. There's no doubt the Rattlesnake would like to get his hands on this individual in a Federation ring if possible.

While Stone Cold's love for the business is strong, he has found love outside the ring. Steve tied the knot with fellow WWF Superstar Debra this past Wednesday in Las Vegas. My dear old daddy and his wife Jan (who is EVIL) were present for the marriage. Congratulations to the happy couple from yours truly.

Kurt Angle vs. Triple H at Unforgiven is one of the most anticipated matches of the year. The tension between these two is so heated Mick Foley will officiate this match! No doubt these two are bound to have a series of matches as Good Ol' J.R., Jr. can't see this being the only contest between these two thoroughbreds.

Big Show is currently in Jim Cornette's Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion where he is working on his conditioning and looking to lose weight. Big Show is being counted on by WWF officials and many of his fellow Superstars to lose the extra baggage.

My apologies go out to the Ninth Wonder of the World Chyna who I failed to mention was also at the MTV Music Video Awards presenting with Richard Hatch of "Survivor." By the way, Hatch will not be wrestling Pat Patterson at the Survivor Series to put an end to those rumors. He couldn't sell ice water to people in Hell.

As many of you heard by now, Chyna will be on the cover of the latest issue of Playboy. It's a 12 page spread in which the Ninth Wonder of the World will be baring it all. September 25th is the date the issue will be released, however, Good Ol' J.R., Jr. received a rough draft a few months ago and I must say I was impressed.

Steven William Regal is scheduled to make his return to the WWF this Monday night on RAW is WAR. However, Raven is still a few weeks away from entering the Federation. Big things are on the horizon for these impact players.

The SmackDown! the Vote campaign has seen over 60,000 people register for the election. No doubt, more and more people will head over to WWFVote.com to register for the election this November. Folks your vote is going to count this November!

Many fans have been emailing me asking my thoughts on the Tazz interview last Monday on RAW. Well, what can I say? It was intriguing. Many fans believed it was real. J.R. and the King didn't outright say it was a shoot, but they commented on it and left it to the fans imagination. Somebody should "inform" that former WWF Magazine Editor that's how you do a "shoot."

The RTC is out of the control. Steven Richards has managed to get Val Venis to fall under his spell and now the former 2 time Intercontinental champion and controversial superstar is a puppet for the RTC. And worse of all, the man wears white pants after Labor Day!

Could a split between Eddie Guerrero and Chyna be on the horizon? I'll take "The Obvious" for $100, Alex.

Chris Benoit has really come into his own in the WWF. The Crippler is really starting to feel comfortable behind the microphone. I thought he did a great job with mic work at TV this past week.

No doubt about it, T&A is the most underrated team in the WWF.

Will Perry Saturn and Terri ever get to explain their relationship to the viewing audience? That's a question my daddy and myself have been pondering over for weeks now.

This Monday RAW will be in Chicago at the Allstate Arena and no doubt the place will be rocking. I have a few friends from the Chicagoland area who will be looking to make a little noise and raise a little Hell Monday night when RAW hits the air. SmackDown! in Milwaukee should be a hot crowd as well.

10 columns in and I have to say it's hard to believe I've submitted ten editions of the Jim Ross, Jr. Report. Time sure does fly when you're having fun! I would like to thank the many people who take their time each week to sit back and read what I have to say. I would also like to give thanks to Mr. Zimmerman who works his ass off on this site. Hopefully, he'll be able to get his online access back sooner than later and hopefully I will never, EVER be late with my column again!

Enjoy the weekend and take it easy.
