BLAH

NO TITLE NECESSARY

It's a good day to think about the future.

And do you know why that is?

Simple.

Chris Benoit is having an autograph session in my neighborhood this Saturday.

Do you think I'm gonna miss out on my opportunity to meet one of the men that I've idolized for the last 3 years? Hell no.

Because in my heart, I can attest to being a mark. And I've got no problem saying that all the Internet babble won't mean a damn thing when I meet Mr. Benoit.

I'm waiting for that moment.

That moment when I look at him and I realize "Holy Shit! It's ACTUALLY him!"

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to meeting him.

But what should I ask him?

How's Nancy and the kid? What does Kevin Sullivan think about you? Why can't X-Pac bust his ass when you wrestle him?

I sure as hell ain't asking him that.

And you know why?

Because it's none of my damn business.

And it's none of your damn business either.

Unfortunately for the wrestlers, Dave Meltzer and Wade Keller intend on making on providing the gossips on these warriors.

It comes to a point where we have to wonder whether we need to be hearing this information or not.

Now, I admit to frequenting the wrestling gossip sites quite often. It's one of my common routines throughout the day.

But looking back on it in hindsight, I can see that maybe it isn't the best option from a moral standpoint.

Take for instance, one Tammy Sytch and Jake Roberts.

Their falls from grace has been for all of us to see.

True, they have publicly admitted to it. But would they if gossips such as Meltzer and Keller had not brought it up in their newsletters?

I just don't know, but I believe that if there were a few less gossips, our view of the athletes we see week in and week out would be totally different than the view we currently have.

I'd like to think that there would be more of a focus on the actual wrestling than looking at Sytch and immediately thinking "Crackwhore!" I wouldn't mind that one bit. Nope.

Besides, it's none of my damn business anyway.

But hey, that's just me and my little opinion.

So when I meet Mr. Benoit next week, you can bet that I'll be extremely respectful to him when chatting with him for a good 30-45 seconds.

Why? Easy.

First, he can kick my scrawny ass in half a second. Second, it's none of my damn business what he does in his personal life anyway.

It's only a few days away until he comes. It will be memorable to say the least.
