BLAH

STICK IT

Random Thoughts and A few other Things:

Another Monday is just about over, i've given up on RAW cause i know how it will end....oh well. Tonight set up the six way dance for Unforgiven I assume with the giant cluster during the show. Actually I like how this whole shebang has been set up. For some reason i'm enjoying HHH not fueding with any one person (except maybe Austin) but just everyone. And the fact that's he's had title defences lately ( vs Gunn last week, Kane at Smackdown) just helps the WWF title scene seem more competitive which is something it has been lacking. Dont' confuse quick title changes with being competitive, it's not. What (and I do know this is all worked....but lets all look at it for what it's spossed to be) makes a title competitive is the champion defending it against different challangers, winning, and moving on. Each title match being even until the champ shows us why he is the champion and pulling out the win, as Triple B...i mean H has done (come on, i know everyone really really really wishes Bam Bam was WWF World Champion).

After looking at Smackdown from last week again i have to ask, does the WWF feel that insecure without Austin there, i don't think the ratings dropped at all (or not that much....taking into account they were on later then usual) during the non-Austin period. I liked it, it was giving a few other people a chance to get time, and honestly the Rock is improving in my eyes when it comes to being orginal. But i guess the WWF fears fan will tune into Nitro if Austin isn't there drinking beer, swearing, and whatever else he does.....i kinda forgot what it is. They shouldn't worry, WWF could parade the Rock out to fight Chaz and the peole wouldn't mind.

Thanks to Mankind for doing a interview last week on RAW a little like he used to, was great to hear him do the volume thing with his voice again. All us Cactus fans are happy now.

Line of the year goes to Bob Holly for calling Dracula and a fat bastard...i knew someone would call him dracula, it just had to happen.

On to the twisted, defaced, side of the coin:

WCW!!

Who drove the hummer.....well, um.......i guess.....Luger might have....and HEY! Sting is with Luger now against Hogan but didn't they conclude it was a Sting imposter! WAIT! NWO Sting is working with Sting. That's brillant, pure genius, never saw it coming...but neither did the other 4 people who watch Nitro.

(That was not a knock on WCW....well, yes it was, but i like them, Benoit has the TV title! This means he's the champion of my TV and all TV's everywhere. Now that he has this belt, he can defend it on all TV shows. Nitro, Thunder, Saturday Night, Raw, Smakdow....then again, maybe just Nitro. Any way you slice it, Benoit still will have a World Title shot coming his way, that a way to go WCW, string us smarks along for one more week, just one more. We only have Jericho in the WWF, give us some love.

EC F'N GD HOLY S#^$%#& W:

ECW ON TNN IS THE BEST, and i only have seen the first week. My parents continue not to tape it for me! What I can't explain is why Taz would leave NOW! sure, 6 months ago he had reason, but now the company has a future it would seem. Perhaps ECW can establish what will surely be the savior of the company, some kind of health/insurance plan for the workers. Then Taz might stay, i can see he has a family to support but bailing out when things turn around i just can't understand.

I know this will hurt ECW but they still have RVD, Sabu, a returning Candido?, Storm, Credible, Corino, Tanaka, Awesome should he sign, Nova, Chetti, Injured Dreamer, Tajiri, and 3 more guys i can't remember...oh yea, Lynn! they will survive.

Bidding you goodbye:

Sorry to keep this sadly short (even more sorry sence it's my first column and I only get one first impression) but time restraints due to school are kicking. Thanks for reading and feel free to e-mail at peacock@qconline.com thanks.
