WHY NITRO WILL NOT BECOME RAW JR.

Allow me to express my opinion on the current Russo/ WCW / WwF situation...

First of all, I think its extremely unfair that people have had the narrow-mindedness to actually suggest that Nitro will become a 'RAW jr'. Russo and Ferrara are extremely talentedand creative individuals, who took the pathetically limited WwF roster, and used their talent to completely hide that fact, and elevate WwF to their current position.

Now call me crazy, but I would think that common sense would tell us two things that would completely discredit the statements made by certain online "personalities":

1) Creative people pride themselves on being just that, meaning that they would want to come up with an entirely new style and theme for WCW.

2) Having the potentially unlimited talent base of WCW to work with means that Russo and Ed do not have to limit themselves the same old rehashed main events week in and week out. Nor will they have to resort to people puking on each other and screwing their sisters to get over, simply because if one guy can't get over, there's plenty more talented workers in WCW who can take their place.

I believe when Russo says he left WWF because he "accomplished everything he could there", what he really meant is that he realized that he could no longer keep up the charade of making WWF appear to actually have depth, which has become more and more painfully evident with each passing week.

Let me discredit one more popular opinion (held mostly by WWF marks) floating around on the 'net:

Some people are contesting that Russo and Ferrara were not under contract because they were considered replaceable. If that is true, then why is it that "Mr" McMahon is ,at this very moment, scrambling to get other members of the WWF creative/production staff to sign no-compete clauses?

Anyways, here are my predictions for who will be the top 5 guys in WCW 6 months from now:

1) Shane Douglas - After quite a dissapointing first few months, save for the latest storyline, we will finally be able to see this guy shine in WCW. Easily has the best mic skills in WCW right now, with all due respect to the Nature Boy, and we all now how highly regarded mic skills are in the eyes of Russo. It's my gut feeling that he will become a legend.

2) Goldberg - Self explanatory.

3) Buff Bagwell - Much like many of you out there, I've never cared much for this guy myself, but like the ''Evil Schill" Bob Ryder said, you can't deny that this guy has "the look". With the right lines fed to him, he could end up WAY over.

4) Vampiro - Could be the next "Personification of Evil" but hopefully with an entirely original type of storyline going =)

5) Chris Benoit - In my mind, and alot of you people's minds out there, Chris should be #1. But IMHO the reality of it is that his unrivaled in-ring skills can only carry him so far. He needs improvement with the mic skills, and he's got the right people in Russo and Ferrara to help him get there. Maybe in a year or more, he COULD be the top, or one of the top two guys in the company.

Thanks for listening and feedback is very much appreciated!
