THE BUFF REPORT
Every Egg, One Basket

In light of recent events happening in everyone's favorite pastime, the Buffster feels that he needs to extrapolate extemporaneously. Or something. So once again, welcome Buff-o-maniacs to the realm of everyone's favorite sex symbol, Buff McKenzie.

WWF is in trouble and it isn't because of Russoman and Ferrarararraarra.

Nope.

It isn't because their losing advertisers.

Nope.

It isn't even because they are lacking in talent.

Nope.

Not at all.

It's a problem I never thought good ol' Vinnie Mac would ever have, in light of how he handled the Hogan and Hart situations.

Stone Cold is over. And I mean that in as many ways as that sentence could be interpreted.

Now, the fact that I hate SCSA has no bearing on what I'm saying here. Personally, I think he's over-rated, over-fat, and way over-redneck for my tastes.

But the people love him. Those same people that shelled out 25 bucks+ for each and every version of SCSA's T-shirt that WWF(E) issued.

And now he's through.

Even if he can compete again, I don't think that his pride would let him, considering that his in-ring ability would be virtually nullified. And WWF(E) is in trouble because of it.

No one is as over as Austin now.

And Vinnie Mac's biggest mistake was treating his #1 as a prima donna, letting him call his own shots and letting him rest on his laurels at the top spot while letting other talents languish in midcard-to-jobber status.

Shame on you Vince.

Charisma is hard to develop in a short time, but that's all Vince has, because the public is not going to buy Austin in a non-wrestling role. He's not a good commentator, nor is he much as a commissioner thorn in Vince's side.

Vince vs. Austin is one of the longest running and most rehashed and stale feuds today. It ain't gonna work for long.

If SCSA can't wrestle, he's no good to the WWF(E).

Period. End of Story. Quote it.

And with Foley near retirement, Vinnie Mofo Mac will have to do some very creative writing to get we the fans interested in other talents, and quickly, because the clock is ticking, and I don't mean the millennium count-down.

Does 2000 hold reduced revenue for WWF(E)?

I think it is defiantly possible.

Get ready for a huge Rock push.

Get ready for Jake Cage: the Series.

Get ready for WCW winning every once in a while.

Get ready for the end of this column.

That's all till tomorow, Buff-o-maniacs.

Thank you for coming, or however you reacted.
