Onward!

Submitted for your approval... The Buff McKenzie Interview with... Steve Corino! (Yes, that one.)

Everyone who knows what the three letters ECW placed together in a bunch mean, knows who Steve Corino is.  You know him as the motor-mouthed King of Old School Wrestling. The manager of the rookie-monster Rhino, who's more than thrilled to feud with Dusty Rhodes.  The man who got in Fred Durst's face.  The man standing as a paragon of wrestling amid a sea of flaming tables and chairshots.

What you might not know is that he's a devout company man, as well as a proud father.

And if you didn't know, he has his own website, which happens to be one of the better wrestler-sites I've seen.

Go there NOW!

Buy his shirt!

And since you're doing everything I say... Send me money!!

Anyway, without further ado, here it is:

A New-School Interview with an Old-School Hero.

Steve, when did you decide that you wanted to be a pro-wrestler?

The second time I watched wrestling.  The first time I saw wrestling I was intrigued on what it was, the second time I saw it, I was hooked.

Who trained you, and why did you choose that person/school?

I was trained by Tom Brandi and King Kaluha.  I really didn't choose that particular person but when I enrolled in wrestling school they were up there training Brandi's cousin.

If wrestling fell through, what would be your SECOND choice as a dream job?

Probably a radio DJ.

How did you hook-up with Limp Bizkit?

A lot of people ask that, but it was a spur of the moment thing that was successful.

What inspired your gimmick of "The King of Old School Wrestling?"

I am a huge fan of the late 70's early 80's wrestling and I knew that if it drew that much money then it could still draw money today and so I am here to bring that style back.

What is your favorite move to perform?

The Sleeperhold

Where do you look for inspiration?

My son Colby

What is your favorite thing to do when you aren't wrestling?

Going to the park with my son.

What would be your dream feud (involving you)?

Me and Tully Blanchard vs. Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair

If the opportunity presented itself, would you consider jumping to one of  the "big two", and if so, which one and why?

Neither because I am very happy in ECW.

What improvements would you suggest to improve ECW on TNN?

These improvements are all on TNN's lap.  2 hours would be great because we have so much great talent that should be on TNN.

How is your noggin after that chair-shot in the Limp Bizkit video-clip?

Better now, but I was pretty messed up for a few days.

 and finally...

What does the future hold for Steve Corino?

So much.  I have accomplished so much in a year here in ECW there is no stopping me.  This time next year maybe be 1/2 of the World tag team champions, 2 years-the World TV champion, and 3 years-the ECW World heavyweight champion.

Thanks a lot, Steve, it is appreciated. And hey, at least I didn't pull a  Barbara Walters and ask what kind of tree you would be if you could be a tree.

Again, you are one of my favorite workers in ECW - especially on the stick.
I wish you the best of luck, but I know you don't need it.

Have you forgotten his website? It's http://www.stevecorino.com.

So anyway, if you haven't checked out my band, Motive Eight..... well we have cool professionally recorded MP'3, that sound great... get 'em while they're hot...

Guaranteed to be better recorded than another wrestling columnist's band who I won't name here, but it's Rick Scaia.

And for Flair's sake, e-mail me!

Coming next - the first installment of my multi-part comedic opus - How to B Extreme!
