MARVELLOUS UK NEWS BITS

I don't want to step on Richard Craig's toes here (oops, I guess its a bit late now! Sorry Richard!), but I have a couple of pieces of wrestling news for us British wrestling fans:

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY THINKING?

It has been brought to my attention that to accompany their UK tour, WCW are making some promotional movements over here in Blighty. The big promotion is that Three Count are going to get their song released as a single. I'll state it again so you know you read right. THREE COUNT ARE HAVING THEIR SONG RELEASED AS A SINGLE IN THE UK. I don't know when its out but if I find out I'll pass it on. I really don't know what to think about this. I'm not going to even try and communicate how I feel about it. It can't be put into words.

ECW BACK ON UK SCREENS

I was enquiring about what I thought was a clip of All Japan in an advert on the TV station Bravo (available on satellite, cable and digital in the UK, in case you didn't know). I was told that while there were no plans to show All Japan, from the April 1st Bravo are showing ECW again. Last time they showed ECW, it was programming that was a good two or three years old, so I asked if it was going to be old ECW again. The very nice guy who replied to me said he wasn't sure, but apparently the programmes were only put together this year. Hopefully this means British wrestling fans could get a chance to see an ECW show similar to the one that has been showing on TNN for a little while now. If you want to see if the web site puts up any info about it, you can visit it from here. But no matter what form it takes, the UK will have ECW on TV from April which can only be a good thing for UK wrestling fans.

Until next time.
