DAMMIT

What the hell?! I getting really tired of these damn smarks!! Please tell me you agree.. Really, is there a need to be so damn critical of wrestling shows and PPVS? So many people say "this show sucked?" I'd like to confront these bastards and ask them simply, "Tell me why." I bet half of them couldn't give me a straight answer. The other half would bitch about 1. workrate 2. Old guys and 3. mid-carders. First off, since when are internet smarks f'n workrate afficianados? I go to the CRU webpage, where some guy proclaims himself a poruresu expert. Whatever. Unless he's been a ring, he's talking out of his ass. I love AJPW and NJPW for its great workrate, but these damn smarks go too damn far. The essence of wrestling is not workrate, believe it or not. It seems that these guys (for the most part) have been exposed to "the best," and now nothing will suffice. Grow up. It's really easy to criticize while they're laying on their asses.

"Oh, Hogan's old," they say. What the hell's the point? These are probably the same people who were cheering for him ten years ago. Hypocrites. I even read some rant from some guy claiming that he never like Hogan, even as a kid.m Total bullshit. Okay, he may have never like Hogan, but this guy was bitching about workrate. C'mon. Is it that hard to believe that a guy who has beatn the best of the best can't cut it nowadays? I mean, he's 6'6 or whatever, and over 250 lbs. Does guy that size need ranas, catchy lines, or even a powerbomb? He never did before. If he dropped a leg on me, I'm sure I'd be out for more than three seconds. People bitch about Duggan, but Nash is always ready to give him is well-deserved credit. Wrestlers have respect. Smarks generally don't. People just bitch about Hogan and Flair because everyone else is. Think for yourselves, people.

A friend of mine said, "oh, he's just a mid carder." Since when do people have the right to throw around terms like "jobber," "mid-carder," or "sell?" A jobber is someone is who consistently loses. Not someone who isn't at the top of the fed. And what's the deal with people recapping using terms like "so-and-so jobbed to him." It's called a loss. Someone has to lose. Can't we maintain some f'n kayfabe here? That's what makes it fun. People have become too damn critical to enjoy wrestling. Half of these smarks jumped on the wrestling bandwagon, just waiting to yell,"Suck It!!" and get their signs on tv. Then they found the almighty internet and they think they know what it's all about. I hate to break it to ya, but we don't. I like to be entertained when I watch wrestling. These guys are trying as hard as they can to please people. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

So the typical mark is a teenager kid who calls everyone a mid carder and thinks everything the Outsiders do is hilarious. No knock on the Outsiders there. They put an effort into pleasing the fans, and they do. So what's so bad about someone else trying to do the same? No one starts at the top.

Smarks have gained access to the almighty holy grail of wrestling -- insider info and backstage politics. Now all they have to do is control their newfound power by keeping their mouths shut and watch the damn show. What's the sense of watching and paying if your just gonna bitch? Really?

Bottom line -- Kayfabe is good. There is nothing wrong with going to WWF's and WCW's website to mark out. Insider pages are good too, but overkill takes the enjoyment out of wrestling. Some net writers think that they are part of the show, and have huge egos. We are fans. So as the Rock says, "Shut your mouth and know you're role." Now if someone bitches about me quoting The Rock and not Jericho or Beniot -- go to hell.
