BLAH

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

"My exalted, unmatched, unequaled, She Who Is Known As Cyan, who is talked about incessantly on Delphi (I'm serious--you have your own level of kayfabe now, whatever that ultimately means) the Exalted, the Woman, the Myth, the Legend, She Who Is Without Earthly Peer...."

-Cale Jameson.

Well.

Hello to you too. <smiles>

I'm CyanIndigo, a girl on a wrestling site. No, that's not my real name, but a CLEVER ALIAS destined to thwart you all.

What? Oh yes, a girl. It's true. 20 years worth.

Apologies for lack of writing. Being held hostage by red thong underwear in Rhode Island makes it hard to concentrate on a keyboard.

Well, that and..... never mind. You're all too young and virginal for me to share that sort of information. Trust me, sex ed will teach all, my little fifteen-year old fans, sex ed will teach you all.

Just make sure the condom is lubricated before you try it on your hand, kids.

THE BIG STUFF

Flimsy reasoning for the WCW Four's heel turn against Cactus Jack: Money over friendship.

What, that's it?

Well, great. Just what we need, MORE FUCKING HEELS.

Although I admit that no one saw it coming, and people do say that debuts usually start out as heels, I sincerely believe that there are not nearly enough faces in the WWF, and although we're in an era where good and bad don't necessarily smack each other up anymore, it's still a formula used.

So?

Benoit, Malenko, Guerrero and Saturn were prime for face-material. New faces to thwart the E-VILL Stephanie "Wannabe-Slut" MacMahon and that HHH guy....

Guess not. A sort of "new" DX, if you will. More DX-associated members. Even better. Have I mentioned how old DX is getting? It's the WWF NWO now, it just NEVER DIES. GAWD.

They should hire me in there. Nothing dies and wilts near me. Ever.

<smiles>

I find it interesting how the popularity of the New Age Outlaws is slowly dwindling.

Maybe because.....they've been using the same intro since 1997?

Maybe because.....Billy Gunn looks like he'd rather be getting a catheder inserted?

Maybe because..... they generally suck?

Take your pick. I personally believe it is time to let those boys drop the belts already. We've got the most solid tag-team line-up since..... I can't remember when, probably the 80's. The Hardys, Edge and Christian (although Edge is getting a singles push) The Dudleys, the Acolytes, Too Cool, D-Lo and the Godfather, The Hollys...... come on now. Why keep the tag belts on the NAO? What's the point? Some circulation is in order, and who's the most likely to be the recipient?

That's right, the fans, I say with a "Vince MacMahon the Publicist" leer.

Heh heh.

Do you think Tazz can make it big? That's the question on alot of sites these days. Although the vignettes, the graphics, and the made-for-T-shirts phrase "The Mood is About to Change" (I give the production a month) even though it's all good, I'm not sure the WWF is handling him right.

Or perhaps, Tazz isn't handling the WWF right.

Now, I don't think that they're solely relying on Tazz's ECW history to get him over, because if they did, they're being damn foolish. However, even thought he's got stellar music and graphics and everything... he's small. True, he's ferocious and will "tear your head off" as says Jerry Lawler.... he's small. He doesn't quite match up to the other talents he's been in the ring with. Mainly, Kurt Angle.

True, true, it's still early and all, but what do they have planned for this guy? Choke-outs? Mid-card feuds? Or maybe.... a little Jericho gold in his future? I don't know alot about Tazz, but I hope he, and the other imports, can adjust to the WWF without much trouble. Time will tell.

A great big huge STELLAR to the main event on RAW this week. That was prime beautiful shit, right there. I haven't seen such a great main event, full of hot tags, wrestling, interference, and genuine crowd fever in a long, long time.

And on that note, STELLAR to Too Cool, for being the fall guys in the main event, for making a bunch of the others look good, and in my view, being a definate factor in the overall excellency of the match.

THE QUICK NOTES

I was going to watch NITRO, but one look at Medusa's enormously scary breasts and I had to avert my eyes. YIKES. When did those things get implanted?!

Why is Jericho so sloppy these days? Was his talent overestimated? Or was it his competition?

Nice to see Steve Austin after all this time. I have a strange feeling that he's not going to fit in when he returns, but it was nice to see him.

I'm out on a limb. I say it's going to be a (GAH) Triple Threat Match at Wrestlemania 2000 between HHH, the Rock and Cactus Jack.

And on a side note: EVERYONE stabs Mick Foley in the back. Notice that?

Was there a point to having Harvey Whippleman take the title from Miss Kitty, lose it to Jacqueline in three days time, and then never be heard from again? Hm? Signifigance? Great minds at work? What?

I find it intriguing that so many internet personalities (and fans) don't seem to like the Rock anymore, and yet, the entire crowd erupts everytime he raises an eyebrow. So who's lying?

Ah, we're all marks. I'm the feminine one. And you?

Chris Benoit hugging the 1-2-3 Skid.

*shudder*

WRONG!!

Why are all DX matches dominated by the usage of the dreaded nut shot? Is this Chyna's final mark on the group? Or just a way to serve them up E-VILL?

As predicted a few months ago, it's relatively obvious that Billy Gunn is not happy in his position as one half of the New Age Outlaws anymore.

Anyone else notice how heavily Kurt Angle's knee was taped up on Monday? That caught my eye.

Where has Mark Henry been? And why did he return in the first place? I sincerely doubt that the Mizzark has any potential other than in the midcard range. So? He will be remembered in history.... for impregnating Mae Young. Mm-MM. I give him a year.

I believe that right now, the Acolytes are as over as they will ever be in their wrestling careers. And what is the Protection Agency thing I heard Jim Ross talk about? A little promo might help.

I consider Viscera's push to be up there with Prince Albert's on the "Who's he blowing?" list.

Retire the HardCore belt, please. It doesn't have the same significance and recognition anymore.

What to do with Gangrel... what to do... suggestions anyone?

Remember when D-Lo Brown was one of the young, prospective talents on the WWF roster?

Why is every woman a "Jezebel"? Does that mean I'm one too, since I'm a "skank" according to rumour on Delphi?

Perhaps I am. Something to think about.

The Dudleys have apparently taken the Jeff Jarrett "smack around women" angle. I find it interesting.... in a sick, twisted, secret-Cyan way.

Oh, gentlemen, you have no idea what I do in the bedroom. Hm. Hm.

FWA-CHING!

Bravo to the WWF for FINALLY taking Tori away from Kane and FINALLY giving him the (apparent) push he deserves. Thank the bloody lord, I actually smiled to see Paul Bearer. He looks good, by the way.

As do I.

That's enough from me. Mail the address if you've got a question, cyanindigo@hotmail.com

Keep your spit to yourself. I'll blow you all a kiss instead.
