At the moment I really don't like the choice of champions in the WWF. The World title - Why does Hunter have it? The world title I've always thought worked best when the holder of the title wasn't still trying to show he can carry it. The World champ should be a proven guy. Looks like we could have a DX reunion to help boost Hunter's reign? If that did happen then Hunter would have to show the fans that he is the "game", Shane, Chyna, Billy, X-Pac? Don't forget the Posse when needed. And with the actual headliners either home or doing Tag stuff. Leaves a feeling they don't want to bother with this champion. Nothing for them to prove. It's safe to say, I think, that whoever the current champ is going to be. He's nothing more than a regent, not a king. Austin and Rock are kings. Austin's injured and Rock was too recent a champ. You know who'd be perfect? The Big Show. Sure, the rumours say he's suppose to be built up for WM. Do you want to see Rock or Austin vs TBS? Does anyone care Kevin Sullivan, er I mean, the Undertaker is trying to bring out his killing streak? That build up would of made more sense with Hunter. Build up Hunter for the Rumble. Let Show play regent till a king came home. The IC title - Why does Jarret have it? Scary thing is, Chyna or Ass could be the next couple of champs (scary)! I've thought a good IC champ was a wrestler who came across as a tough guy to beat. Face champions would either have to be out wrestled (Bulldog vs Bret) or cheat to win! Or cheat to keep the title (HTM, Rocky's 2nd). You know who has this aura to him and it'd be fun seeing any midcarder go against? Edge. How about a program with Edge being challenged by the Big Shot? Let Christian and Crash go at elsewhere. Built in enemy with the New Brood. A brother turn. His real life brother-in-law (Val). Ex-champs, other title champions. Lots of good matches in the wings! Plus he's over! If they want for the sake of giving a guy a belt or spicing up a feud then use either the Hardcore(HC) or Euro title (EC). So there choice for EC champ isn't too bad. We're getting an okay feud out of it. If they want to put Chyna up against a guy (why in te first place, really!) these are the titles. If they want to build up hopeful next generation stars who have little heat, again, these titles. Chaz, Meat, Gangrel, Christian, if he was to turn on Edge(the IC champ). Or Roaddog. Yeah he's mega-over, but what makes him over? Him announcing himself as a champion. Why waste the good titles? Hard Core title works best when there's no storyline. Just guys going at it. Just like the EC the fans don't care enough of the titles to worry about the hot potato effect. Who cares if it's a JTTS vs a top Midcarder? It's no holds barred. Guys can run in and beat the bigger name up to give the no name a quick win. Won't hurt the big name. Or even a squash? Big Show vs Matt Hardy. Matt hits him with a chair. Then Show destroys him in a minute. Fans get their dose of violence. Show gets to show off he's a tough guy. Matt gets to show off he's not afraid. Or why does the HC champ always have to be a singles wrestler? Let's face it, the division with Bossman and Al Snore really sucks! Have Bossman bring out the stupid taco dog, the two make up, then the Dudley Boyz come out, destroy them, challenge the two for a match. New champs. Build up new guys in the Fed. Womens Title Not much they can do except bring it out for a couple of months. Then store it away. Then bring it out, then store. Then out.. till fans catch onto it. No point in forcing it down the fans throats! When they're not fighting over it. The ladies do valet stuff. Same idea with the LHW title. Though they do have enough believable guys to do this division now. Bring it out, store, out, store.. when not in service, it's tag team bouts for them. TAKA, Crash, Brain Christopher, Christian, Jeff Hardy, Stevie Richards, and that's not including the LHW midcarders. Tag Team titles - Why are the World contenders the champions? What's more interesting: Rock and Mankind vs Edge and Christian, or, Rock and Mankind vs Edge(the IC champ) and Christian(#1 contender to the LHW)? If the big names want a piece of it-fine. But don't forget about the other teams! Vince, Shane and Russo's choices: World- HHH IC- Jarret, with Chyna as #1 challenger Tag- Headliners, with a token mention of the Acolytes and Edge and Christian EC-Henry vs D'lo (even though D'lo's over) HC-Bossman with Al Snow's crappy ideas Women's- Just watching, hoping it'll catch on. LHW- Shelved My choice: World- Big Show. Loses it at Rumble to either Rock or Austin. HHH is build up in the mean time. IC- Edge Tag- Just pick a team and let them hold the titles for awhile. Don't quickly take the title away just because a big name wants a belt. How about Edge and Christian? Why not build up Edge in the eyes of the fans? EC- Their current choice isn't so bad. But why not Joey Abs, with guys like Chaz, Meat, and the big draw- Test? Cheat to win, Abs. Cheat to win. Or Roaddog. Womens- Just stick them in bikinis and let them have wrestling matches. No build ups needed. I swear every guy will be watching 2 girls do a bunch of greco-roman wrestling moves on each other. (Well, maybe not the guys who think Prince Albert is a real stud?) LHW- A 2nd chance. Whoever is willing to give a spot feast gets to fight for the title. Taka vs Jeff Hardy anyone? Stick in one half of the Tag champs, Christian, too.
