PICTURE THIS

It's all about head.

No, not that kind of head. Not even Al Snow's beloved head.

Hulk Hogan used to get many full head shots on the TV screen. Chin on the bottom of the screen, hairline at the top of the screen. Lots of them, constantly. This is one more way you can tell when someone is getting the big push. Your minor players and mid-carders NEVER get a full headshot close-up, as if it costs more or something. Obviously it has to do with egos or everyone would get more head.

I could never capture a good picture off TV of the Big Show over in the WWF as world champ because they never would do a close-up of his face. Have you ever seen a world champ who was pushed less? Can you say contract obligation? There have been many great close-ups of Stephanie McMahon, but none of The Big Show. That should tell you worlds about who is and who is not important in the WWF.

Here's something interesting. Over at WCW, as I am watching my Nitro tape, they bring out Terry Funk as their new commissioner, with a shot having his head using up a third of the height of the screen at best. Then Arn Anderson comes out and talks while getting a full head shot for a considerable amount of time. Then the nWo comes out and each have a turn at the mic, starting with Brett Hart. Only Nash got the full head shot from the camera. With no knowledge on what is really going on, I'm saying that the big pushes coming are Kevin Nash and Arn Anderson, in spite of the fact that Bret Hart is champ and Terry Funk is the new commissioner. Let's see how it unfolds, shall we?

Picture this . . .

Vampiro comes out and the camera shows him from the top of his head to his waist. That is as close as the camera ever zooms in on him. David Flair comes out and the camera zooms in for a full head shot. Golly, who do you think is going to win? In this case, a couple of weeks ago, David Flair actually got a clean pin over Vampiro. Now I'm no big fan of Vampiro, but David Flair has ZERO talent on the mic or in the ring and shouldn't be allowed to sweep floors back stage let alone beat one of the smart's favorites. David Flair = BIG PUSH.

While we're on the subject, here's something for you to give some head to. It's a verse from the great Shaolin master Jimmy Dandy of Black Oak Arkansas.

Everyone wants to make it

Nobody wants to try.

Everyone wants to go to heaven

Nobody wants to die.

Ommmmm.
