NO MERCY PREDICTIONS/DESIRED RESULTS

This isn't a log of what will happen, it is merely a combination of what I think will happen and what I would like to happen. With all the things in the WWF that are rumored to happen, such as an Austin heel turn, the reestablishment of a heel DX, etc., this is the perfect place for it to happen and prevent the Unforgiven disaster.

This is not an official card and is subject to change at any time.

Opening Match: Edge and Christian vs. the Hardy Boyz

While this is a match with a supposed storyline, the main reason for this is to satisfy the internet smart marks who want a WRESTLING match. The best of five series was evened by the Hardy Boyz on Smackdown! in order to provide this match for the PPV. It's a good, exciting opening match to get the crowd into the show. Terri should wind up with Edge and Christian since she fits in well with their "blonde ambition" attitude as opposed to the gothic thing. Personally, a cool swerve would be to have Terri either go with the losers of the match anyway, or have her team up with the absent (then suddenly returning) Gangrel against both teams, creating an unlikely alliance.

Women's Title Match: Ivory vs. the Fabulous Moolah

Why, oh why is this match on a PPV? This is the kind of match that should be reserved for Heat or Jakked, not for people shelling out $30. Hopefully this will end quickly and allow some time for some other good matches, with Ivory destroying Moolah and us never seeing her again. She was good as a Jarrett heat technique, not as a wrestler.

Tag Title Match: (Blank) vs. Hollys

Outlaws lost the titles, and the Rock and Sock Connection is dissolving, as well as having single matches tonight. Will they defend here, will there be a new champ come Sunday (phantom change or abandonment of belt?) or will we see the Hollys get screwed over? I'm not sure what'll happen, personally I see the Hollys being screwed over. Wouldn't it be cool to see McMahon turn heel, cause them to lose the tag titles and align with Austin, Bulldog, Venis, and we can have a war? Ok, so I think so, sue me.

X-Pac and Kane vs. the Acolytes

Let's have the break up happen already! Turn X-Pac heel, have him deck Kane and leave him to be beaten by the Acolytes, as we saw, he can't win a handicapped match. Then Kane can feud with a reformed heel DX, (NAO, X-Pac, Jericho?) destroying them in the process.

Intercontinental Title: Jeff Jarrett vs. Chyna

Jarrett is as over as you can be at this point. He saved face announcer JR from Chyna and got majorly booed. How much more over can you be than that? He'll either keep the title or lose it in some whack way, like a Dusty Finish or something. I think we keep the belt on him to keep up the heel heat, but move away from the angle. If he becomes a big loser to a woman, he'll lose his heat, but if he keeps with that gimmick, he'll lose his heat. So have him win in a cheap way and then attack Debra, and have Austin have his real life girlfriend and elevate him into a feud with Austin, who'll keep up his heat. Not that giving Chyna the title is such a horrific idea, and it will probably happen.

Val Venis vs. Mankind

Val Venis is not deserving of a clean win on PPV, especially over a main-event type and former champion in Mankind. While they will probably have some interference with the Rock and Bulldog to promote the Rock and Sock vs. Doggy Porn Connections (or something like that), there is no way I can't see Mankind getting the win. Some interference on behalf of Val by the Rock would do some good here, helping forward that angle. This will all depend on what happens with the Tag Team Titles. We'll see, it's a tough call.

British Bulldog vs. the Rock

Mankind returns the interference, except he actually helps the Rock, too naive to realize what happened, thinking it was all a big mistake. Then he finds out and turns on the Rock, leading to make this a legit feud. This elevates both back to main event level as it had sort of slipped for both being involved with the Venis and Bulldog.

WWF World Title Match: Triple H vs. Stone Cold

I think it would be great for Triple H to keep the belt. After destroying Austin at Smackdown!, he has a huge amount of legit heel heat which could now carry over to any feud. Also, Austin can feud with Jarrett, slowly starting to turn heel, but not concentrate on that completely as he suffers mental anguish and deals with whoever the new number one contender is. The show could end with Stone Cold getting out of the ring and throwing over the cooler of beers, refusing to drink and horribly upset and confused.

Also, look at some of the talent not being used by WWF at this PPV. Jericho, Dudleys, Headbangers, D'Lo, Test, Big Show, and others. Maybe some of the poor matches (Women's Title, whatever happens with the Tag Titles, Jarrett vs. Chyna) can be shortened and we can get, say, Jericho vs. D'Lo in a good match.

Remember, these are neither spoilers nor accurate. As the somewhat knowledgeable man at Wrestleline, Kevin Langbaum says, this is just how I would like to see it go down, and how in fact it might. If you want something more legit, go with him.
