BLAH

...AND MARKING OUT

Hey all. Welcome again to another edition of ...AMO. I have another short column this week as I am swamped with work that I should be doing right now rather than writing this, but I should get paid for this somehow, right?

Leftovers

None this week. Fridge is empty. Go to Micky D's, already.

Thanks to the loyal few who read and write. You keep me going.

I watched both shows this week. RAW rocked. Nitro sucked. End of story. Get over it already.

Seriously though, both shows left me with questions either born out of intrigue or disgust, so I decided to do things a little differently this week. So, without further ado, I give you

10 Questions that came to mind while watching Monday night

1. Is anyone else as geeked for this HHH/Undertaker feud as I am? Think about it: The cagey veteran who's not ready to give up his top tier legacy without a fight versus the young, arrogant, insolent star who feels his time is now and is pissed because of a perceived/actual slight by management. I just get chills thinking about it.

2. Will Triple H actually job to the Undertaker? Now that would be cool, and I don't think it would damage the Game in any way.

3. If he does or doesn't, it still begs to question: When will he job for someone who could really benefit from the credibility it would give them like Chris Benoit? Ditto for Stone Cold.

Disclaimer: I am a huge fan of HHH and Austin. Really. I am. Big mark for those two.

4. To WCW: Can we please focus on getting over one nickname at a time? Sean "the Star" Stasiak, AKA The Mecca of Manhood AKA PerfectShawn. Which is it, already?

5. Why should a former world champion like Booker return to a mid-card feud over a mid-card belt with a shell of a former wrestler? I had to ask.

6. Does anyone actually care who assaulted Midashia?

7. Where does Jeff Hardy get all that rhythm from? Watch his entrance and think about it.

8. Does any heel have more consistent, constant, unrelenting heat than X-Pac? This guy always gets booed, even when he isn't actually wrestling. If the WWF thinks he can give heat to both Justin Credible and Albert, what more can you say? Albert?

9. Why can't WCW figure out that "cut to another camera angle when the shot is making everything look super-fake" thing that the WWF seems to usually do so well?

10. Can Austin and Rock possibly top HHH's and Austin's effort from No Way Out? I know they'll try. It should be fun to watch, even if the outcome doesn't really appear to be I question.

Laughing over Spilled Beer

This is the portion of the column where I post your mark-out rants. Send me your thoughts on your favorite wrestler or moment or whatever and I'll include 'em. It's that simple. This week's rant comes from Big Perk (who is appearing here just about as frequently as I am). He wrote:

And yes...I have to say it!

This new Kurt Angle persona is even more of a joke. He curses now more then ME!!! This newly found rage is even more comedic. I must admit...his ankle move is the BOMB. Too bad for Scotty!!! Let's think this through a little bit more WWF before unleashing an mad angry out-for-ROCK (and any one else in tights with muscles) Kurt Angle. I enjoyed the light-hearted "It's True...Oh, it's true", opposed to the "It's true...Oh, it's DAMN true."

I finally was intrigued by WCW last night. Booker T is back (and so is the shit-talking). DDP is ridiculing Steiner and I love it when the 10 bodyguards come out to hold Steiner back. The cruiser weight tag team match has to go, however! I cannot stand watching muscled-up Backstreet Boys flipping their candy asses in and around the ring. I do like Primetime...he is the Rock(in terms of shit talking) of the WCW. His music is the shit!!!

That's all for this week.

Until next time, send your thoughts to drinkingbeersandmarkingout@yahoo.com.

Oh yeah, be a fan.

Drink beers. Mark out. Care less.

I'm Out.
