IN THE ZONE

All right, I am back for another week. I would have wrote this column last night but I was busy watching the Mets lose. Enough about that because I am heart broken. They played a hell of game and to lose on a walk was just horrible. Since this is a wrestling column, or so I like to think it is I guess I will get back to it. Finally Heather will be able to see smackdown this Saturday, how happy am I...Very in case you wanted to know,. Anyway on to Heat, it was all right but I am glad that they changed the format, because to be quite honest it was kinda boring. Really I don't remember what happened.

Ratings for Nitro were up this week, seems they are changing the flow of things and maybe just maybe I will have to start taping it again. Worse though Ratings were down for Raw, since last week. I just have a hard time believing that WCW will beable to come back on top when the WWF has the two biggest draws in the wrestling industry...That being the Rock and Stone Cold.

On to the PPV. It started out boring, Hell that match between The Godfather and Mideon wasn't that great, it did have potential though. But the match of the night goes to The Hardy's and Christian and Edge. These 4 young men gave you everything they had Sunday night. The fans are the winners in that one. I know all 4 men were jut beaming on the inside from having 20,000 fans up on there feet clapping and screaming. These boys deserved it. Speaking of them the next night on Raw both Edge and Christian break Character and shake hands with Matt and Jeff. Not something you see a lot of in professional wrestling these days. It gave me chills. Of course the winners (Matt and Jeff) won Terri, which I personally feel that don't need. But maybe with the Hardys turning on Gangrel, and Christian and Edge doing great without him. Maybe we will see Gangrel team up with his real life wife Luna. I feel that would be great.

I wanna touch on the Rock and Sock connection. I don't feel that the Rock through that book away. Look for the culprit to be named in coming up weeks. But the culprit won't be named until the rock and sock connection are finally through. I never knew Mick had it in him but he is the only man in history to cause the Rock to be speechless. I felt bad for Mick and when he was sitting on the stairs ringside he looked like he was about to cry. A couple of times I thought the man was going to help the Rock but even with 20,000 thousand people chanting ROCK AND SOCK. Mick wouldn't move. This is the end of the Rock and Sock connection. I am happy for the Hollys though, I like them but I have a feeling that they will not keep the belts long. Look for the Outlaws to make their move, maybe on Smackdown or next Monday on Raw.

One more thing before I close this week. CHYNA FINALLY HAS THAT GOLD. Even though it was known that she would win it, I was happy for her. I like to believe that the WWF would have had her win even if Jeff was to resign his contract. It would have been a great to see Jeff all upset on Raw the next night but no all you Nitro fans got a taste of Jeff and his guitar this week. Good luck to Jeff. One more little thing, I read all over the internet how tons of people are upset over the fact that Miss Kitty was dressed up like Chyna. I thought it was cute that Chyna has her own Mini mi. Plus I thought Miss Kitty looked great, she didn't look trashy like she normally does. So to all of you who are upset, get over it. Most likely it will end as soon as Chynas reign does. Unfortunaly I don't feel the WWF is going to let that go to long. If Chyna is lucky she will hold the belt until Survivor Series. I like this Jericho fued that is starting , theyhave potential there and I believe that Chyna can work a match with him. Its just going to be a little bit harder then working a match with Jarrett.

That's it for me this week

Until next time

Keep it Real
