BLAH

IN THE ZONE

Hello to all my loyal readers I know that I took the week off last week and I am utterly sorry about that. My computer died on me right in the middle of updating my website. So needless to say I was pissed but included in this column will be my thoughts on the Rumble and then I will get to this week in wrestling.

First off the Rumble was nothing short of exciting. Even though yours truly missed the entire first match because my cable company totally sucks. So I missed the Tazz debut which is something that I totally wanted to see. I guess I will just wait for the Rumble to come out on video. Let's take a look at my predictions and see how right I was.

I stated that Angle would go down. How right was I. I mean hell he was taken down by an illegal choke hold but then who the hell cares at least he went down. Therefore I am right.

I really want to gloat on this one and I am sure all the male fans out there are wondering why they had to see those puppies. I picked Mae as sorta a joke and hey I was right. Damn I am good. Hey guys at least you got to see puppies isn't that what y'all want anyways.....LOL

The Outlaws Vs the Acolytes: First off I am glad that the Acolytes didn't win this match. And again I was right with the X-pac interference. Who's the women?.....LOL!!!

The Rumble match itself was great and again I was right with my pick for the winner. I couldn't get over the dancing by Rikishi and Too Cool. Just loved it. As far as the Roaddogg thing, My man had the strategy. If he were smarter he would have stayed in his little corner in the fetal position and waited for the Rock and the Big Show to eliminate each other and then make his presence known to them. But of course not he had to get up and laugh at Al Snow causing Billy to eliminate him. That's all right really never thought the Roaddogg would win it anyway. I was happy with the outcome.

Now lets see where I was wrong. This really upsets me but you can't be right all the time now can ya?

The Dudleys Vs the Hardys: In my opinion this match stole the damn show. Not better then the Ladder match but damn near close. I am totally into the Hardys and believe sometime this year they are going to hold them damn titles. But what better way to propel these young men further then putting them in a feud with one of the best tag teams in the WWF. With this feud it will make it just that much sweeter when they beat the Champs for the titles. Give them this feud until Wrestlemania and finish it there. That will only propel the Hardys further if they gain a victory over the Dudleys at Wrestlemania. Then the Hardys can go after the Titles perhaps by King of the Ring. I just think it would be pretenious of the WWF to give the Boys the titles too soon. Give the Hardys more Mick time, let them prove they can talk on the damn thing. The fans already know they have talent in the ring show us some outside of it.

The street fight between HHH and Cactus Jack. I was way off target on this one. I really thought HHH was going to drop the belt. But I was wrong. It was a great match and quite bloody at that. I really thought we would see some sort of interference by someone.

Now with that over. Lets hit on Nitro. Now I was giving these guys the benefit of the doubt but now I think I must face the bitter truth that this promotion absolutely positively sucks. Sorry but the only good thing that happen during the first hour was catching a glimpse of Evan's Abs. Although they are nothing like Ken's but then who's are...LOL! I plan on not tuning in next week and instead watching the show Freaks and Geeks. Which is a good show if you are sick and tired of WCW's product.

On to Raw.

How great was it that Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerro(sp) and Dean Malenko showed up. Whoo I was happy well until they beat up the Outlaws. But hey I am over that. Just seeing their faces there was good enough.

Loved the commercials for the superbowl. All three were great and quite frankly better then last years. I am partial to the baby one. Baby Kane was adorable. Speaking of Kane. The man, when he returns, is going to be pissed and I wouldn't want to be a certain long hair little man. Hoepfully Kane will be the monster he is supposed to be and not some emotional wimp.

Random Thoughts on Raw.

Who stole Big Shows Hair? The man looks like an overgrown 10 year old.

Why the hell was Edge out there last night. I mean hell his lips were swollen almost as big as his head. From what I read he almost lost his front teeth. He needed to take a couple of days off and heel. Not be out there risking more injury.

Its good to see Kurt getting defeated, even if it was only by the Rock

How cute did Scotty to Hottie look last night.....DAMN!!!

It amazes me to see the WWF sink to lowest level by making Harvey Wippleman the Womens Champ. I just give up because I seriously doubt the WWF will give the women with talent a shot at the belt.

Well I will leave you this week with that thought running through your mind.

Until Next Time

Keep it Real
