Greetings sports entertainment fans! I'd like to open my column with a shoutout to the newest slash guy, Redman! He did a great column last week on HHH and this week, he did a good one on something I've been thinking of-ECW. I'm really sorry to see the precarious state they're in. And I just read a report of the last house show seeming like it really WAS the last show.

I watched 'Guilty As Charged' and managed to miss the hype of 'an event so big, it would change the face of ECW FOREVER!' I watched with an open mind and enjoyed it! But from the various reports I've read, it looks like I'm in the minority along with Rick Scaia. My only real complaint with the show was the lack of thought in the storylines. How else can we explain the dropping of the demanding Francine/frustrated Justin?

Sure it was a demeaning storyline but it served a purpose-Francine was withholding sex from Justin until he had that belt back around his waist, Justin told everyone that 'gold between her legs' was as important as the gold around his waist. Suddenly, he's with Jasmin then he's in the bathroom with Missy Hyatt WHILE Francine's in the other room?!WTF? By the end of the show, both he and Francine were fine with him losing YET again, despite Francine saying she went where the belt went before! I guess the thought of sleeping with either Sandman or Rhino made her rethink that.

I was quite surprised to see Rhino win the big belt though, I don't see him being the guy to base your company on. I don't mind him, but he's just not the first guy I think of when I think 'champ'. I would've loved to have seen Jerry Lynn come out and accept Cyrus' challenge-therefore leaving Cyrus in a quandary to who he should cheer for. The guys at the LAW were VERY pessimistic on this PPV-saying Chetti's appearance meant his WWF deal had fallen through and pointing out RVD having ring rust! (I didn't notice) They also though RVD's appearance meant he hadn't gotten any solid deals from anywhere else!

I have to repeat what I heard someone else say -that despite their financial woes, the ECW roster still went out there and put on quite a show! I'm really hoping they can be like a phoenix and rise from the ashes-they deserve it...

Onto WCW-I know I've dogged them in the past but I aimed mostly at Russo, they have a talented roster and just don't know what to do with some of them! (To be fair, we can say the same thing about the WWF) I like this Animals-Team Canada feud, but then I like Team Canada anyway-I really hope they're not lost in the restructuring. I've read that it was felt the presence of Major Gunns was earning them pops. Well, I'm a girl therefore T&A doesn't impress me but I'd cheer for Team Canada anyway-Lance & Elix rule!`

Speaking of T&A, first we see Lita in the shower then we get to see Trish request a spanking! Uh....gee....

That reminds me, I'VE been a very naughty girl, I was supposed to do a follow-up to the column Rebecca & I did but I haven't started it yet. Oh yes, I've been very bad and I too deserve a spanking........ :)

Oops, sorry, got distracted there. You know Rebecca had a very good idea about Kurt Angle & Trish teaming up to distract Vince and keep that belt but it hit me last night-what if Trish & HHH are pulling a swerve? Yeah, Trish is using her wiles to distract Vince and maybe Kurt too, all to insure getting that belt back to HHH! Think about it, the stuff Steph was going through with Austin really were face in peril stuff (if the crowd weren't so rabid for Stone Cold, that is!) What better way to keep HHH a heel AND get him out of his marriage?

We'll see at the Royal Rumble, should be an interesting show.....
