Greetings, sports entertainment fans! I write this on the eve of ECW's Heat Wave PPV, while watching the hardcore show. I really hope USA picks them up, these guys are much too talented to go back to the strictly house show route. It would also be great to see them expand to 2 hours but that might be stretching the roster a bit.

Well, let's look at the PPV, shall we?

Little Guido vs. Tajiri vs. Psichosis- Anything involving Tajiri is great in my book and with Psichosis added, this should be awesome. No doubt Sal E. will be all over this match but it won't help Guido. And what a great way to welcome back Psichosis too!
Winner: Tajiri

C.W. Anderson/Simon Diamond/Johnny Swinger vs. Kid Kash/Danny Doring/Roadkill- I was very happy to see Simon finally dump his merry band of freaks. He's got potential and that 'comedy act' was not getting him over. Then again, I guess it was better than his 'Dick Hertz' thing. I'm a big Kid Kash mark but I'm on the fence with Doring/Roadkill-weren't they heels? I guess they're faces by default in this match. It would be cool if Kash & Co. win but something tells me C.W. wants to prove how great being an Anderson means.
Winners: C.W. Anderson/Diamond/Swinger

Steve Corino vs. Jerry Lynn- Two of my favorite guys; as much as I loved Corino as the cowardly heel, I love him now showing what he can do. That match with Tajiri at the last PPV earned him real respect so I expect more of the same here, especially since the awesome Jerry Lynn is his opponent. Jerry is one of the best so I know this will be an exciting match-add Cyrus and the other network stooges of course.
Winner: Jerry Lynn

RVD vs. Scotty Anton- Come on now, who doesn't expect a squash here? I know they're friends but will RVD do the job? I don't think so! I'm sure Cyrus will make an appearance here too-who knows, maybe HE'LL get that new move RVD's talking about!
Winner: R-V-D

Rhino vs. Sandman- Isn't this like the 3rd straight PPV match these two have had? Don't get me wrong-I like the whole you hurt my wife angle but come on! Sandman is more than overdue to get his revenge and if winning a belt he's never had is added-that's just icing on the cake!
Winner: the Sandman

Justin Credible vs. Tommy Dreamer- This whole Stairway to Hell thing bothers me. Isn't Tommy hurt enough? For what he puts his body through alone, he deserves that belt. I like Justin but has holding the belt really helped him? Or the belt? No. Well, expect much blood, expect high spots, and expect a new champion. ( It'd be cool of Dawn came out with him too, right M? ;) )

Random ECW Thoughts

• How great was it to see Spike Dudley again? But my, he needs a good meal.
• The Blue Boy? WOW!! He looks like a completely different person.
• I look forward to seeing Spike vs. Tony Mamaluke-match of the featherweights!
• Yikes! Did Fonzi's teeth get even worse?
• Is it me, or has ECW increased the women-bashing? In the last 2 weeks, we've seen Jazz, Dawn and Gorgeous George get caned while Electra and the Prodigette have gotten attacked in the ring. It's not cheap heat if the crowd enjoys it, Paul.
• Speaking of that, just what was the point of bringing back Dawn Marie if it was to just beat her down in the ring?
