SHARON'S EDGE

Greetings, sports entertainment fans! Well, I must say Sunday Night Heat is rapidly improvingwith quality matches and deja video. I really loved the verbal battle between Chyna and Y2J-some classic lines and of course, the ultimate was Chyna's parting shot, "Here's something you're used to hearing, not tonight, Chris, I have a headache'! He had to pick up  his face from the floor! My column this week is just full of random thoughts, I invite you to agree or disagree, whatever.

  •      Why were J.R. and the King acting like they'd never seen the tag team of Stone Cold and the Rock?  The way they were going on and on, I wanted to throw something at my TV. We've seen this before, guys. Are we getting selective amnesia or are we just going to pretend that Russo & Ferrarra never worked for the WWF?
  • Kane ordering X-Punk to stay out of his match?  This was clearly an ego stroke on Kane's part because how exactly does Sean help him?
  • The Dudleys running from X-Pac? W*T*F?? You come from ECW for God's sake! That's like running from Francine! Come on guys, one 3-D and he's outta there!!!
  • The thought of Viscera and Mark Henry with all those hos makes me want to nail my knees together. Or lose my lunch, or both.
  • Finally, Moolah and Mae are out of the picture. And what a good way to do it-just let her announce her retirement. Giving out hints, Vince?
  • Tori and Kane? Oh please God, NOOOOO!!!!!!!
  • Shane McMahon and Test RULE!!!!! Damn, that cage match was good! When Test climbed to the top and leapt off to give Bulldog the elbow-damn!! And then when Shane jumped from there to cross body the Posse, I was screaming!!!
  • So are the Hardys, Edge and Christian the new 'Canadian Country'? I really hope these guys will form a stable.
  • So are Chyna and Kane members of the reformed DX? They were noticably absent from the big reunion at the end of RAW. I really loved their earlier storyline and I really hope Vince chooses to renew it. I have noticed they're selling t-shirts with the words 'Kane says..Suck It!' but I hope he's not in DX. They seem to be heading in the heel direction and after presenting Kane as more human and humane-he should have a problem with being a bad guy.
  • DX-heels or faces? I guess going after the big 2 babyfaces in the company makes them defacto heels. I guess they'll wait until Smackdown to explain just how this reunion took place.
  • And now with the attack, this puts Stone Cold's heel turn on hold. Btw, I have to concur with CRZ, I never really noticed before but now JR really seems to be all up in Stone Cold's area! He really seems to mark out for whatever Stone Cold does! It's strange because on my Best of RAW tape-Stone Cold gives him a stunner! Well, I guess you always do love the guys who treat you like dirt!
  • I must be getting sick in my old age, because I really like what the Boss Man is doing! He's a really good heel and these past 2 storylines: Pepper and Big Show's pop are just too cruel and sick for words. But he's doing a helluva job-I hate him!
  • I really enjoyed reading about the past exploits of Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie in the newest RAW magazine. And it was great to see them in action on Heat-please keep the Meanie in the WWF!
  • Gangrel over Blackman? I guess that push is really over with now. Hey Steve, go watch "The Matrix", come back dressed in black with a long black coat, call yourself Neo-with those karate moves, it'll be a good gimmick!
  • Well, it was good to see Too Much back in action-that tag team roster is really busting out! I'm looking forward to the race for the tag gold-hopefully around the waists of those golden boys-Edge & Christian.
  • I am an Acolytes mark! I love the brutality of those 2 and I had to hand it to Faarooq for allowing himself to count to 3 before attacking those stupid racists!
  •  Speaking of that, I read an interesting note on the WWF and I had to concede this guy's point. To call yourself the World Wrestling Federation, you really should have wrestlers from all over the world. Now I know that in the beginning, Vince did have guys like Tatanka, Yokozuna, Andre, the Wild Samoans, etc. But during their rise to the top, the WWF has gotten less diverse-most of the guys are either from USA or Canada (aside from Bulldog) Do you think the WWF fans would accept wrestlers from other countries or are we too xenophobic? Something to think about....
  • Are Road Dogg and Billy Gunn the Lenny and Lodi of the WWF?

Well, that's it for me. Until next time, dear readers........
