SHARON'S EDGE Greetings, sports fans! Well, where do I start? I don't know what grossed me out more this past week-the close-ups of doggie doo or the mud wrestling! I'm really hoping those were leftover clutter from Vince Russo's weird little mind. Not to mention Mark Henry's therapist, who looks like refugee from the Ho Train. Please tell me just what the point of this angle is? Is it supposed to be amusing? It's not. Is it supposed to be sad? Well, I don't think most guys will sympathize with a man with sex on the brain-I mean, doesn't that pretty much describe all men? And what is up with Miss Kitty? Or Jerry 'King' Lawler? Here is his girlfriend, she's flashing her thong, thrown in the mud and having her top ripped off-do you think when she pisses him off, he suggests some degrading storylines? Is she getting brain damage from that peroxide? And I still question where is the concern for the women that JJ beats up? Chazz was never seen actually hitting Marianna yet he was shunned and even jumped in the locker room whereas JJ is shown putting the make-up woman, ring announcer, and asst. director in leg locks-nothing said, nothing done about that. Anyway-thank goodness, Chazz's abuse angle is over-thank you! I like Chazz and it was pretty obvious from the start that this storyline didn't work. I would like to have seen him stay Chazz for awhile longer but welcome back, Thrash and Mosher!! Onto other things: poor Rock, he seems to be the guy they go to to get guys over and now he's stuck with Bulldog. I laughed when someone said the Davey sounded just like Fat Bastard (from Austin Powers)! She was right! Most of the time, I don't understand a word he's saying! Please, Davey, put the mike down and back away. And please, people, what happened to Droz was an accident! It was horrible and tragic and it was accidental! I say this because evidently people are bombarding the WWF with nasty comments about D'Lo Brown. I'm sure no one feels worse than D'Lo right now (besides Droz) Droz's family even put a message on the board to say that Droz did not blame D'Lo-he understands it was an accident. Leave D'Lo alone! And spend all that energy on prayers for Droz-we're thinking about you, Droz. God bless you! I have all the faith in the world that you WILL walk again. Now I've decided to consult my lovely 8 Ball for this weekend's PPV No Mercy: 1- JJ vs. Chyna in a Good Housekeeping Match- After that horrible scene at RAW, Chyna should have real fire in her eyes and wipe the floor with this jerk! all signs point to Chyna which makes me nervous-cuz it doesn't always happen that way. It sounds like an interesting match and hopefully Tom Pritchard will have nothing to do with it! Winner: Chyna! 2-The Big Show vs. Prince Albert- OK, now who doesn't think Big Show is going to slam this pierced punk into oblivion? 3-Ivory vs. Fabulous Moolah- Now I don't consider myself an ageist but come on! Why is this match happening? Geez, are Jackie, Luna and Tori have to grow old to get a match? Moolah might be an interesting color commentator but keep her and Mae out of the ring. They've had their time! Winner: (Oh please God!) Ivory 4-The New Age Outlaws Vs. the Hollys- Not being a big fan of either of these teams, I'll go with the always over NAO. 5-X-Pac, Kane & The Acolytes in a 4 corner match- Why oh why do I get the feeling Kane will get screwed BIG TIME in this match? This will be the moment XPac turns on him and he ends up getting stomped in the corner by the Acolytes. I just hope he doesn't have to suffer the indignity of a bronco buster! Winner: X-Punk! 6- Edge & Christian vs. New Brood- I refuse to see my boys, (C & E) under the...thumb or anything else of Terri Runnels. Where has Gangrel been throughout this little race? I can only hope he interferes with the match to take his (original) boys back-or maybe form a Brood stable and leave Terri to her own devices! 7-Mankind vs. Val Venis- Well, Val dropped out of sight for awhile but he's back now with a vengeance! He was very good against the Rock last week but I predict with an assist from Mr. Rocko-Mankind will come out the winner! 8-The Rock vs. the Bulldog- People have not gotten into Bulldog as heel or anything else. But in trying to solidify this whole heel thing, I think Bulldog might just win this match- oh, it won't be clean or fair but a win's a win. And what better way to 'endear' yourself to the fans than to make a mockery of 'The People's Champ'? Winner: Bulldog 9-HHH vs. Stone Cold- I like Steve but I don't mark out when I hear the glass break, I find myself being very amused when HHH is being a smartass to JR or Michael Cole and HHH really is proud of getting that title belt. So I say he'll do pretty much anything to keep it- I mean do we really need Stone Cold as champ again? I say if Chyna is well rested, she may assist but HHH is going to do whatever it takes to win. Winner: HHH My ball and I have done pretty well in the past, we'll check back next week to compare! In closing, I would like to send my condolences out to the Marella family for the loss of the legend, Gorilla Monsoon. Rest in Peace. Vaya Con Dios. Until next time,
